In 2021 during away series with Pakistan, Linde took his maiden five-wicket haul in test cricket. Over the years he had transformed himself into the proper all-round cricketer. Unfortunately, Linde went unsold in the Indian Premier League auction but if he continues to carry on the same way, an IPL contract won’t be a far-fetched thought. The all-rounder has gone from strength to strength and on the back of some brilliant form, he was bought by the MI Cape Town to play in the inaugural edition of the SA20 League.
