Heshani Silva is the wife of Sri Lankan cricketer Angelo Mathews. Heshani was the second born child of her family. She attended St. Bridget Convent and worked in MAS holding after completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA). Heshani in her early days used to play badminton as a sport. She was a good player and played several times in national Badminton tournaments. She played in under 19 badminton tournaments in Sri Lanka.
