Zak Crawley is a professional cricketer, who plays for England cricket team Internationally. Zak has represented the England cricket team in One Day Internationals and Test cricket. Zak was born on 3 February 1998 in Bromley region of Greater London, England. Zak is a young and talented cricketer. He is a type of batsman who can give a solid start to his team, as he usually opens the batting line-up. He is amongst the tallest players in the team with 6 feet 5 inches height. In domestic cricket, Zak represents Kent County Cricket Club. Zak made it to International cricket in the year 2019, when he was picked by selectors for England’s series against New Zealand. 3

Zak did his schooling from New Beacon School and TonBridge School. Zak’s father Terry is a retired trader. At his times, he was one of the highest paid traders and was listed in Sunday Times rich list. Zak has been representing Kent since under 11 category. He graduated from Kent Cricket Academy and went to Holmesdale Cricket Club. Zak signed his first official contract with the club at the end of the 2019 cricket season. In October 2017, Zak signed an extended contract with Kent Cricket Club, after playing 4 championship matches for them at the end of the season. For the 2017-18 Regional Super 50 Tournament, Zak was included in Kent’s team. Against Guyana in the inaugural match of the tournament, Zak scored his first List A half century. Zak became an important part of Kent, as he used to play in every first class match and limited overs match. In the first edition of The Hundred, a T20 league of England, Zak was signed by London Spirit. He only played one match and scored 64 runs as an opener against Birmingham Phoenix. In the 2022-23 season of Big Bash League, Zak played for Hobart Hurricanes. He scored a half century in his very first match of the tournament. 

After Zak’s impactful performance in England Lions, he was included in the England Test team for their series against New Zealand in 2019. It was on 29 November 2019, when Zak played his debut Test match for England against New Zealand in the second match of the series. He was also selected in England’s team for their series against South Africa in coming months. Zak’s performance in Test cricket was inconsistent in the 2021 season as well. After Covid 19 Pandemic, he was selected in the ODI team of England to play against Pakistan. On 8 July 2021, Zak played his ODI debut match against Pakistan and scored his first half century. He was selected in the 2021-22 Ashes series against Australia. In the late 2022, Zak became the fastest opener to score a century for England before the lunch time in just 86 balls against Pakistan.
