Shivam Dube is a professional cricketer who represents India Internationally. In domestic cricket he competes for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Mumbai on the state level. He was born on June 26, 1993. He is an all-arounder who bowls at a medium pace with his right arm and bats left-handed. Shivam Dube is considered as a big hitter in the T20 format of the game. In November 2019, he made his cricketing debut for India on an international stage. Shivam Dube was born in Bombay, India, on June 26, 1993. At the age of 14, he gave up playing cricket because he was overweight and couldn’t afford to improve his fitness. At the age of 19, he started playing again and was immediately chosen for the Mumbai Under-23s.

On January 18, 2016, Shiav made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the 2015–16 season. On February 25, 2017, he played his List A debut match for Mumbai during the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. On December 7, 2017, he played his first-class debut match for Mumbai in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. It was the same match when Shivam recorded his first five-wicket haul in first-class cricket during the first innings. He hit his first first-class century on November 2, 2018, during Mumbai’s match against Railways in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy. In his subsequent match against Karnataka, he took 7 wickets and gave 54 runs, it was his second five-wicket haul.

At the time of Ranji Trophy match against Baroda, Shivam hit five sixes in one over on December 17, 2018. It wasn’t the first time he hit 5 sixes, as  previously he did the same against Pravin Tambe in the Mumbai T20 League in March, where he was also named the player of the competition. Shivam Dube became the highest wicket taking bowler in the team of Mumbai  With 23 wickets in just eight games, in the 2018 Ranji Trophy. He was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League in December 2018. Prior to the 2021 Indian Premier League, the Rajasthan Royals purchased Dube in the IPL auction in February 2021.

Shivam was selected for India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) team in October 2019 for their series against Bangladesh. On November 3, 2019, he played in his first T20I match for India against Bangladesh. Shivam was selected for India’s One Day International (ODI) team later that month for their series against the West Indies. On December 15, 2019, he played his first ODI match for India against the West Indies. Shivam bowled the second-most costly over in a T20I competition on February 2, 2020, when he gave 34 runs in the fifth match of the series of T20I against New Zealand. Shivam has got to play a total of 14 International matches in which 13 are T20I and single ODI. Shivam is currently playing for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He is considered a valuable all rounder in the IPL.
