Liam Livingstone is a professional cricketer who represents team England Internationally. Liam plays for Lancashire in domestic cricket. He is a batting all rounder, who bats with the right hand and can bowl right arm off and right arm leg spin. He was born on 23 August, 1993. In The first edition of tournament The Hundred, Liam was named as the most valuable player by England Cricket Board. Liam was part of the World Cup winning team of England in 2022. His T20 debut took place in May, 2015 for Lancashire against Leicestershire. He was one of the most important players in the Indian Premier League season 2022.

In the 2016 season of First Class cricket, Liam played his debut match for Lancashire in the very first match. Liam was given his county cap after he led his team Lancashire to victory in the 2017 season. Instead of Steven Croft, Liam was appointed as the captain of the team for the 2018 season. Liam gained popularity after his outstanding knock for his club team Nantwich. It was on 19 April, 2015 when he scored 350 runs off just 138 balls and set the record of most runs in an innings by an individual on an One Day International. Liam got the breakthrough in the year 2017, when he was selected in England’s team for the series against South Africa.

It was on 23 June, 2017, when Liam played his T20 debut match against South Africa. Liam Livingstone was the outstanding performer and this was said by the national selector James Whitaker. Seeing his performance for England Lions in the winter Ashes 2017-18, he was selected for England’s Test team for their 2 match series against New Zealand on 10 January, 2018. During the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL) auctions in December, Liam was selected by Rajasthan Royals for the 2019 IPL season. Liam was also selected by Cape Town Blitz for the 2019 Mzansi Super League Tournament in September 2019. 

Liam was selected in England’s T20 team for the ICC T20 World Cup in September, 2021. He also signed the contract for Lancashire till the end of 2024 season. Liam set the record of hitting the fastest half century and fastest century by any England player. He scored fifty off just 17 and a century off just 42 balls against Pakistan. In the very first match against Pakistan, he scored a century and became the third English player to hit a T20I century. Liam played his debut Test match for England in 2022-23 against Pakistan. Liam is now one of the most important players in the England’s team and he has marked his presence in International cricket as one of the destructive batsmen.
