The Vitality T20 Blast 2023 will begin on May 20 in England where the second game will see the hosts Warwickshire playing against Yorkshire. Warwickshire will try to repeat their last year’s performance when they topped the group stages with nine wins in 14 matches as well. However, they failed to carry forward their winning momentum as they lost in their quarter-final clash against Hampshire. They will be looking to do well in the group stages this year as well.
Alex Davies will lead Warwickshire in the Vitality T20 Blast 2023. Meanwhile, Sam Hain has been their key run-scorer in the T20 format and will be a vital cog in their batting lineup as well. However, veteran batter Paul Stirling will be available for the first few games and they will be hoping to start their campaign on a high note as well.
Meanwhile, Yorkshire were the semi-finalist in the last edition of the Vitality T20 Blast as well. They lost to Lancashire in their semi-final game. Shan Masood will lead the Yorkshire Vikings and they can pose a hurdle for other teams as well. On the other hand, the Yorkshire fans will be happy to see Jonny Bairstow return to action as he is available for the first few matches as well. He alongside Dawid Malan, Masood and Adam Lyth form a solid batting lineup to go with the bowling attack consisting of Dominic Bess, Jordan Thompson and Dominic Leech as well.
The tournament won’t be seen on television. However, it will be live-streamed on Sony LIV.
