Mumbai Indians are placed fifth in the IPL 2023 points table with 14 points in their name whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad are placed at the bottom of the points table with 8 points to their name so far. However, they are already eliminated from the playoffs race as well.

Mumbai Indians lost their last game to Lucknow Super Giants by 5 runs. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma got off to a good start but they didn’t get any good support from other players and eventually failed to reach the finish line as well. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets in their last game. Heinrich Klaasen smashed his maiden IPL ton and helped his side post a decent total but Virat Kohli also smashed a century and helped RCB win comfortably as well.
