Sri Lanka A will host Australia A in the first unofficial Test, starting from Tuesday at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Hambantota. The first and unofficial Test comes after the touring Australian side clinched a convincing 2-1 victory over Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series which concluded recently.
The unofficial first Test between Sri Lanka A and Australia A will feature the rising talents from both the sides. Kamindu Mendis will lead the hosts while Henry Hunt will be in charge of the Australia A side. The visiting side will also feature some important names in their line up such as Marcus Harris, Matt Renshaw and Travis Head amongst others.
The first unofficial Test between Sri Lanka A and Australia A will be played in a period of five days from June 14 to 18 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Hambantota. However, as it is not an official Test match, there will not be a live telecast available for the game. But Cricket Australia and Sri Lanka Cricket’s official website will document the proceedings and the fans can choose to follow the LIVE scores and update on these sites.
