Durban Super Giants will take on Joburg Super Kings in the 2nd Match of the SAT20 2023. The game will take place at Kingsmead in Durban on January 11, Wednesday. However, the top T20 talents from around the globe as well as the South Africa team and rising talents are taking part in the SA20 as well. Six venues – Johannesburg, Centurion, Durban, Gqeberha, Paarl, and Cape Town will host the tournament’s maiden season.
The six teams – Durban Super Giants, Johannesburg Super Kings, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Paarl Royals, MI Cape Town, and Pretoria Capitals are taking part in the first SA20 season which are led by Jos Buttler and Rashid Khan, blistering T20 batter Faf du Plessis and Eoin Morgan, and South Africa sensations Kagiso Rabada and Rilee Rossouw as well. Notably, all six are owned by Indian Premier League franchises. However, each team will play 10 matches in the group stage before the playoffs where they will play the opposite team twice throughout the season as well. Meanwhile, on February 11, the final will take place at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

In India, Sports18 and Viacom18 Sports TV stations will live stream the SA20 2023. The Voot and Jio TV app and websites both will live stream the tournament. Alongside this, Sky Sports will live stream the tournament in the United Kingdom as well.
