The 18 teams featuring in the Royal London Cup 2022 were divided into two groups – Group A and Group B that too randomly. The participating teams in the Royal London Cup 2022 include — Durham, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex, and Warwickshire in Group A while Derbyshire, Essex, Glamorgan, Hampshire, Kent, Lancashire, Northamptonshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire are placed in Group B.
