Bengal will take on Madhya Pradesh in the first semi-final of the Ranji Trophy 2022 at the KSCA Cricket Ground, Alur, starting from June 14. The second semi-final of the Ranji Trophy 2022 will be played between Record Ranji trophy champions Mumbai will take on Uttar Pradesh in the second-semi-final at the Just Cricket Academy Ground, Bengaluru, starting on the same day. The top four sides in the Ranji Trophy 2022 will battle out in the semi-finals for the prestigious trophy.

Bengal displayed a historic performance in the Ranji Trophy 2022 to play out a draw against Jharkhand in the fist quarter-finals at the Just Cricket Academy Ground, Bengaluru. But they qualified for the semi-finals on the basis of their first innings lead. Their rivals Madhya Pradesh, meanwhile, defeated Punjab in the fourth quarter-final by a massive 10-wicket margin to book a berth in the semi-finals.
