Quetta Gladiators will lock horns with Multan Sultans in the 28th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League at Pindi Stadium, in Rawalpindi. Multan Sultans are on the verge of sealing a berth in the playoffs, occupying third place with five wins in nine games. While skipper Rizwan has led from the front with the bat for the Multan Sultans, the likes of Abbas Afridi and Ihsanullah have made the opponent batters dance to their tunes. Usama Mir has also weaved his magic, occupying the third position in the list of highest wicket-takers in the tournament. So, moving on to this face-off, Multan would like to sustain their winning run in the showpiece event. Multan Sultans have one of the best batting line ups in the tournament and their payers are also in top form. They chased 243 in their previous encounter and will be high on confidence. Rilee Rossouw has been their best batter so far in this tournament scoring a match-winning century against the Peshawar Zalmi.

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators faced a heavy defeat in their first match against the Multan Sultans where they lost by 9 wickets but managed to come back well in the tournament. They went on to win their next game but lost to Peshawar and have had a decent start to their season. They would want to win this encounter and get the all-important points as we head into the business end of the tournament. Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, and  Hussain Talat are the Pakistani players in the team, while the overseas unit comprises spin wizard Rashid Khan, Sikandar Raza, David Wiese, Liam Dawson, Kusal Mendis, and Sam Billings. The Gladiators ended up winning their last two games and will look to sustain their momentum in this encounter against a strong Gladiators side.
