Jimmy Neesham has been brilliant this season, he was excellent with the ball and made a valuable contribution with bat which earned him the player of the match award against the Quetta Gladiators. Peshawar Zalmi has been a very consistent team for the past few seasons but hasn’t been able to replicate the same performance this season. Zalmi have won 3 games and lost 3 out of the 6 matches that they have played so far.
On the other hand, The Lahore Qalandars have been one of the strongest teams of PSL over the years in the PSL, the Qalandars are also the defending champions and have started this tournament well. They were a part of the tournament opener against the Multan Sultans and emerged victorious by a single run. Lahore have been one of the most consistent sides this season, their players have stood up at the right times and have delivered in a big way. Lahore Qalandars has been led by the star Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, they also have Haris Rauf in the team alongside the exciting talent Zaman Khan who have done well through out the tournament.
