Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers will be facing off in the 6th match of the Big Bash League 2022 at the Perth Stadium. This will be the first match in the tournament for the Scorchers. The Scorchers who have won the title four times are the defending champions and will look to start the tournament on a high note with a win. They will try and stamp their authority in the very first match. Faf du Plessis will be seen in orange this season and Aston Turner will lead the team. Perth’s bowling looks formidable and is the reason behind their success over the years.

On the other hand, the Sixers will be taking the field for the second time in the tournament. Sixers are currently in the last position on the points table having lost their first encounter. Their net run rate has taken a hit as they lost the match heavily. Izharulhaq Naveed was very impressive in the first game and is one of the players to watch out for in today’s encounter. The Sixers will try and bounce and get their first 2 points on the board.
