It’s the third T20 International between Pakistan and New Zealand on 17 April, 2023. Match is going to be played in the Gaddafi Stadium in the city Lahore of Pakistan. The series consists of 5 T20I and currently Pakistan is leading with 2 wins over New Zealand in the series. It’s the New Zealand (B) team facing Pakistan’s team. Pakistan won the first match by a huge margin of 88 runs. Second match ended with Pakistan winning by 38 runs. Pakistan has got a solid record against New Zealand as they have defeated them 18 times in a total 29 faceoffs. It would be interesting to watch these two teams facing each other for the third T20I.
Babar Azam is currently leading Pakistan’s team and he is looking in tremendous form. Babar has now equaled the record of most number of wins in T20I as a captain. He scored a century in his last game and made his team win the match. On the other hand is Matt Henry, a New Zealand fast bowler. Henry is also looking in amazing form as he took 3 wickets in the 1st match and 2 wickets in the 2nd match. Babar has now scored a total of 3465 runs in his career of 101 T20 Internationals, whereas Henry has taken 12 wickets in a total of 9 matches he played. It would be interesting to watch Babar facing Henry countering his bowling.

Haris Rauf is a renowned right arm fast bowler of Pakistan who is known for taking wickets with his dynamic variations. Haris is currently the leading wicket taking bowler in the series as he has taken 4 wickets in 1st match and 4 wickets in 2nd. On the other hand is Tom Latham who is currently leading the New Zealand’s team. Tom hasn’t performed up to the expectations till now in the series as he has scored just 39 runs while facing 39 balls. Haris in his T20I career has taken a total of 80 wickets in 59 matches, whereas Tom has scored a total of 439 runs in 23 matches in his T20I career. It would be a key battle to watch out for between Haris and Tom in the third T20I.
Mark Chapman is a talented left handed batsman of New Zealand. He can build the innings and direct in his own way. Mark is currently the highest run scorer in New Zealand’s team in this series. He has scored 65 runs in 1st and 34 runs in 2nd innings. On the other hand is Imad Wasim who is a left arm leg spinner. Imad can eliminate any set batsman with his spin bowling and therefore it would be interesting to see Mark counterting Imad’s leg spin bowling. Mark has scored a total of 934 runs in 49 matches in his T20I career, whereas Imad has taken a total of 60 wickets in 63 matches in his T20I career.
