LSG vs PBKS, 21st IPL match- Key Battles

Although, LSG and PBKS have clashed only once in the IPL history, it will be interesting to see KL Rahul or Dhawan leading their teams to victory.

Although, both the have just clashed once with each other in the history of IPL, but there’s no doubt that it will be an interesting battle to watch out for. LSG is right now leading against PBKS, as LSG won the previous match played between the two teams in 2022 IPL. The match is going to take place in the Ekana Sports City Stadium situated in Lucknow, which is a home ground for Lucknow Super Giants. Also they will be having an edge over Punjab Kings on the basis of support from the crowd. Both the teams are packed with young, experienced and players full of potential. 

KL Rahul vs Arshdeep Singh

KL Rahul is one of the most formidable batsmen in the IPL and in International cricket. However, right now he might not be in form but he has the ability to change the scenario for his team. He has the record of hitting the fastest 50 in IPL history. On the other hand is Arshdeep Singh, a young and talented Indian left arm fast bowler, who is known for taking wickets of the set batsmen. Arshdeep can swing the ball which creates problems for the batsmen. KL has played a total of 113 IPL matches and has scored 3970 runs, whereas Arshdeep has played a total of 41 matches and has grabbed 47 wickets. It will be an interesting battle to watch out for between KL and Arshdeep, as how they will counter each other.

Shikhar Dhawan vs Mark Wood

Shikhar Dhawan is one of the best players in IPL history. He has an amazing IPL record and he is among the most experienced IPL players as well. He is currently leading the Punjab Kings and the team is looking good. On the other hand is right arm fast bowler from England, Mark Wood. He is performing outstanding in this IPL and is among the top wicket takers this season. This is his second IPL season, but he is doing great comparatively. Shikhar has played a total of 210 IPL matches and has scored 6477 runs, whereas Wood has played a total of 4 IPL matches and has taken 9 wickets. Mark Wood will be looking forward to eliminating Dhawan in the early stage of the match because Dhawan is capable of directing the innings in his own way.

Marcus Stoinis vs Sam Curran

Marcus Stoinis is an Australian all rounder, who is known for his hard hitting and taking wickets with his right arm medium pace bowling. He played a match-winning knock in his previous match against RCB. On the other hand is the most expensive player of the 2023 IPL season, Sam Curran. He is an English player, who is also an all rounder. Curran is capable of taking wickets in the depth of the innings and scoring the runs in quick succession. Marcus Stoinis has played a total of 71 IPL matches and has scored 1178 runs and taken 34 wickets, whereas Sam has played a total of 36 IPL matches and has scored 408 runs and grabbed 34 wickets. Both the all rounders have the ability to change the tide of the match to their team’s favor.
