Mumbai Indians were out of sorts in the last edition of the Indian Premier League. The five-time champions are no strangers to rough starts but they were languishing at the bottom of the points table for most of the season, their bowling unit didn’t look settled as they had to chop and change. The lack of good Indian bowlers was one of the reasons for the struggle. The think tank will look to pick up an Indian bowler in the upcoming mini-auctions. Here are 3 pacers who MI can potentially bid for in December.

Vaibhav Arora

Vaibhav Arora is an upcoming seamer from Himachal Pradesh, he made his debut for Himachal Pradesh in January 2021 and was first seen playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and impressed everyone strat away. Arora picked up 10 wickets in the 6 games that he played. KKR picked Vaibhav Arora in the IPL 2021 at his base price of INR 20 lakhs. The right-arm pacer is known for his economic bowling rate was 7.41 and also has the uncanny ability to pick up wickets.

Ishan Porel

Ishan Porel an upcoming young pacer from Bengal, his claim-to-fame was when he bowled a magnificent spell against Pakistan in the 2018 U19 World Cup Semifinal. Ishan has been magnificent in the domestic circuit for the past few years. Porel went unsold during the auctions for IPL 2018 and IPL 2019. His IPL dream finally came true as he was picked up by Kings XI Punjab for his base price of ₹ 20 lakh ahead of IPL 2020. The Bengal pacer has a bright future and Mumbai Indians will be definitely eyeing him in the upcoming auction.

Vidhwat Kaverappa

Vidhwat Kaverappa is a young right-arm pacer from Karnataka, In 2022, Vidhwat made his senior-team debut in the Ranji Trophy. He impressed everyone with his tight line and lengths and was the pick of the bowlers for Karnataka in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The right-arm pacer picked up 13 wickets from six games at an excellent economy of 5.6. Kaverappa is inexperienced but makes up for it with his supreme talent. Mumbai Indians are in the hunt for an Indian pacer and he could well be picked up by the franchise in the upcoming auctions.
