After two back-to-back losses in IPL 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Delhi Capitals (DC) in their upcoming match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 15. However, the David Warner-led side is yet to win a match in the ongoing season and things are not looking good for them right now as well. The captain is leading from the front but his strike rate has been a massive concern for the side while the middle-order batters are yet to step up properly as well. However, bowlers have been decent so far but there’s still room for them to improve in the tournament. Notably, Axar Patel’s form will definitely help them in the game as well.
As far as the host is concerned, Royal Challengers Bangalore faced a heart-breaking defeat in their last match against Lucknow Super Giants. Their bowling in the middle overs has looked really poor and Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis had a party in the middle as well. That is one area that the team management will look to improve immediately. As far as the batting unit is concerned, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis are in stunning form at the moment and Glenn Maxwell too showed his great class in the last match. There will try to perform well in the match as well.
