After winning three back-to-back games in the ongoing IPL 2023, Mumbai Indians (MI) are all set to host Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, April 22. Notably, the Punjab Kings started the season quite well, but their batting unit failed to keep up the momentum in the last match against RCB, and that is one area where the team needs to work on immediately as well. However, captain Shikhar Dhawan is likely to make his return against Mumbai Indians, and that will certainly boost their chances to stay in the race as well.
As far as Mumbai Indians are concerned, their batting has significantly improved in the last few matches. Youngster Cameron Green showed his class in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, while Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma once again stepped up with the bat. With the ball, Piyush Chawla once again did well while Arjun Tendulkar was brilliant in both the powerplay and the death overs as well.
