They will lock horns with last season’s runners-up, Rajasthan Royals (RR), at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on Wednesday, April 12 as well. As far as their campaign is concerned so far, both teams have faced a loss and won two games with three matches played as well. While Sanju Samson and Co. are coming off from a huge win against the Delhi Capitals in their last outing, The MS Dhoni-led team beat their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians convincingly by seven wickets.
However, the Rajasthan Royals have shown their authority in four of their last five meetings against CSK and the latter will be hoping to avoid another defeat in the game in the IPL 2023.
