Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) on May 8. However, CSK are coming off a comfortable win over MI and they are sitting second on the points table. Meanwhile, DC managed to stay in the hope for playoffs by beating RCB. DC, though need to win the rest of the games for a top-four finish as well.

Notably, CSK have looked quite dominant especially, at Chepauk, where their spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Theekshana did exceptionally well. Against MI, the pacers also stepped up, with Pathirana and Tushar Deshpande bowling exceptionally well. While Tushar has picked 17 wickets and is also bowling economically as well. The batting has also looked solid for CSK, with Conway leading the charge alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad as well. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals didn’t have a great season but they have just started gaining momentum by winning their last four matches out of five. Their batting has been the major reason for the change of fate, with Philip Salt, Axar Patel, and Warner doing well. Bowling has also looked strong, with Ishant Sharma and Khaleel Ahmed in a good rhythm too.
