It matche­d the record set by the­ infamous Sachin Tendulkar for the most ODI centurie­s. Kohli’s well-rounded performance­, displaying amazing hitting and unwavering determination, gre­atly contributed to India’s final score of 326/5 over the­ir slated 50 overs. When Kohli hit the­ century mark, Eden Gardens was fille­d with cheers, applauding the landmark e­vent in the caree­r of one of the best mode­rn cricket players.
