Commencing their redemption journey post the ODI World Cup 2023 final setback, Team India showcased dominance with a resounding 4-1 triumph over Australia in the five-match T20I series. Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, stellar performances from players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, and Axar Patel highlighted their prowess. The spotlight now turns to the next challenge of Team India – an extensive tour of South Africa covering all formats. Starting from December 10, the series kicks off with three T20Is, followed by an equal number of ODIs starting on December 17.

The cricketing spectacle concludes with a two-match Test series from December 26. To manage player workload, regular skipper Rohit Sharma and batting maestro Virat Kohli are rested for the white-ball series, reserving their appearances exclusively for the Test matches. Suryakumar Yadav will lead in the T20Is, while KL Rahul takes the helm in the ODIs.

Noteworthy is the return of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson, absent during the World Cup and Australia series, enhancing the team’s strength for the ODIs. Anticipate thrilling encounters as these cricketing powerhouses clash across all formats.
