IPL 2021: In pics, Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers vs Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, Match 14 and 15 at Chennai and Mumbai

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their first win in IPL 2021 with a great win against Punjab Kings while Chennai Super Kings got the better of Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai.

The IPL 2021 witnessed a double header on Wednesday between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chennai. The second match was between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Sunrisers Hyderabad finally registered their first win of IPL 2021 by thrashing Punjab Kings by nine wickets in the day game in Chepauk. In Mumbai, there was a tense encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. 

Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad blasted 95 and 64 respectively to give a solid platform for Chennai Super Kings. The three-time champions ended on 220/3. Kolkata Knight Riders were in trouble at 31/5. But, Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik revived the two-time champions. Pat Cummins raised the intensity a notch further by smashing 30 runs in one over bowled by Sam Curran.

Cummins smashed a fifty but Kolkata Knight Riders still fell short by 20 runs. Here are the pictures of both the games in Chennai and Mumbai.
