On Wednesday, arch-rivals, England and Australia will lock horns with each other in the second Ashes Test at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground in London. Australia, having won the first Test in Edgbaston, are one-nil up in the series.  The first Ashes Test in Edgbaston saw Australia hand England a gut-wrenching two-wicket defeat, thanks to a magnificent eighth wicket stand between Nathan Lyon and Pat Cummins. Chasing a steep target of 281, Australia were in a spot of bother, reeling at 227 for eight at one stage. However, Cummins and Lyon pulled off a heist, adding 55 runs for the ninth wicket and ensuring a memorable win for the visitors.

Other the other hand, England faced flake for the first-innings declaration. Although skipper Ben Stokes was praised for his brilliant on-field tactics, England’s sloppy fielding let them down in the series opener. So, moving on to this game, the hosts would expect a better batting and fielding performance from their key players. In a bid to bounce back in the series, England have prepared a spicy track and replaced Moeen Ali with promising seamer Josh Tongue.
