David Warner started the season off with a brilliant fifty, he will go up against Mohammad Shami who has a great record against left-handed batters. However, David Warner has had a wood over the pacer, Shami has dismissed the Aussies only once. Warner has looked quite comfortable against the swinging ball but Shami will look to turn things around in this fixture against the Delhi Capitals.
Mukesh Kumar has been very impressive from the time he made his debut, he has gone from strength to strength and troubled a lot of batters up the order with the new ball. Mukesh will go up against an in-form Shubman Gill, who is coming into the fixture on the back of a superb half-century. He has also done phenomenally well for the Indian team as well. However, Gill has shortcomings against outswingers which Mukesh bowls regularly with the new ball. It will be an interesting battle in the powerplay.

Rashid Khan is Gujarat Titans’ go-to bowler whenever they need a wicket or stop the free flow of runs. The Afghan started this season well picking up two crucial wickets Mitchell Marsh will go up against Rashid and it will be an interesting battle. Marsh will have some trouble playing shots against Rashid who has a brilliant record against right-handed batters.
Hardik Pandya has shown got loads of runs for GT batting in the middle order. He has shouldered responsibility and made valuable contributions with the bat. However, he will go up against Kuldeep Yadav. The left-arm spinner has an uncanny ability to pick up wickets, he will fancy his chances against Hardik Pandya in this all-important fixture. It will be interesting to see who comes up on top when the two Indian superstars go up against each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
