Austria will take on Hungary in the first of a three-match T20I series, starting from Saturday. All the three matches will be played at the Seebarn Cricket Ground, Seebarn. The second match is slated to take place on the same day while the third and final game will be played on Sunday. The series will help the developing nations in cricket to further establish their status in world cricket and grow into their game.

The Austria men’s team represents the Republic of Austria in international cricket. The Austrian Cricket Association is the governing body of the team which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1992 and an associate member in 2017. Hungary, meanwhile, were awarded the International Cricket Council (ICC) affiliate member status in annual conference at Kuala Lumpur in June 2012. They became an associate nation later in 2017.
