The qualifiers will feature four teams in action who will be vying to fill in the one spot available in Group A for the continental event. The four teams featuring at the Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers will include Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore and the UAE.
The Asia Cup 2022 Qualifiers will be played in round robin format. Every team features once against each other and the team finishing at the top of the table will make it through to the main event which starts on August 27. The qualifying nation will feature against India in their inaugural match of the Asia Cup 2022 on August 31 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Asia Cup 2022 will telecast on the Star Sports network in India and Disney + Hotstar will stream the online coverage of the event. The same network will provide live coverage to Asia Cup 2022 in other subcontinent regions like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
