Six teams – Coastal Riders, Godavari Titans, Uttarandhra Lions, Rayalaseema Kings, Vizag Warriors and Bezawada Tigers are featuring in 15 league stage matches of the Andhra Premier League 2022, which is taking place at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. However, the 6th game will be played between Godavari Titans and Rayalaseema Kings on July 8, Friday at 6.30 PM IST.
Godavari Titans have last played against Coastal Riders in the inaugural game of the tournament and won by 2 runs (VJD method). KV Sasikanth smashed a quickfire 55 for Coastal Riders but CR Gnaneshwar’s 20 at the opening helped his side win in the VJD method as well. Rayalaseema Kings, on the other hand, last played against Coastal Riders and Rayalaseema Kings won by 28 runs. Abhishek Reddy top-scored with 78 off 52.

The matches would be telecast live by Star Sports (Telugu), which has purchased the telecast rights for INR 2 crore and on a daily basis, two matches would be played. One will be played from 1 p.m. to 4.20 p.m. and the other will be played from 6.30 p.m. to 9.50 p.m.
