Pakistan will host New Zealand in a three-match One-Day International series beginning on January 9
Following the conclusion of the two-match Test series, which ended in a 0-0, Pakistan will host New Zealand in a three-match One-Day International series beginning on January 9. The two heavyweights were supposed to play the 50-over contest in Pakistan in 2021, but the visitors backed out due to security worries. With New Zealand coming to Pakistani soil, supporters will be eager to see the two teams clash. All three One Day Internationals will be held in Karachi.
The three One Day Internationals are part of the World Cup Super League, however, both teams have already qualified for the 2023 ODI World Cup. As the road to the ODI World Cup has begun, this series will also serve as a warm-up for the mega event, which will be held in India later this year. In terms of head-to-head records in the 50-over format, Pakistan has the upper hand with the most victories over the Black Caps.
