Grant Holloway, also known as Stanley Grant Holloway, is an American hurdler and sprinter who holds the record for the second-fastest 110-meter time in history. He accomplished this by setting a personal record on June 26, 2021, at the American Olympic Trials with a time of 12.81 seconds. In addition to winning the Olympic silver medal in the 110-meter hurdles in 2020, he is a two-time world champion in the event, having won in 2019 and 2022. He presently holds the world record for the indoor 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.29 seconds, recorded on February 24, 2021.
In 2018, Holloway was among the three male contenders for The Bowerman, a yearly prize for collegiate track & field in the United States. He was selected as the winner by the public vote. Under Savanah Webster, the Saints’ first-year head coach, Katie Chronister joined the coaching staff to serve as the pitching coach for the team in 2022. In 2022, SF had a 32-19 overall record and a 13-7 record in the MFC. The Saints went 21-6 at home, and their total of 32 wins topped the previous year’s total of 31. Chronister has extensive expertise as a result of her outstanding playing career at the University of Florida.
