Stanley Grant Holloway, popularly known as Grant Holloway is an American hurdler and sprinter who is the second fastest man in history in the 110 meter hurdles. He achieved this after running a personal best of 12.81 seconds on June 26, 2021, during the American Olympic Trials. He is the global champion in the 110-meter hurdles in 2019 and 2022, as well as the Olympic silver medalist in the same event in 2020. He currently holds the indoor 60-meter hurdles world record with a timing of 7.29 seconds, which he achieved on February 24, 2021.

He was born on November 19, 1997, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Latasha is the name of his mother, while Stan is the name of his father. He also has an older brother named Trey who was his first instructor. He attended Grassfield High School for his education. In the six NCAA Championships that Holloway competed in between 2017 and 2018, Florida won three of them. In the other three competitions, they came in second.

Holloway was one of three men’s finalists for The Bowerman, an annual American collegiate track and field award, in 2018. He was chosen as the winner the fan favorite through votes. In 2019, he received The Bowerman Award from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association and was named Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Year and Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. In 2019, he received recognition from Track & Field News as the U.S. Collegiate Men’s Indoor and Outdoor Athlete of the Year.
