Know everything about him

Brandon Miller is a middle-distance runner from the United States who specializes in the 800 meters. After placing third at the 2022 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he earned a spot in the 800 m at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. He was 29th overall in the heats at the 2022 World Championships and was unable to advance to the finals. Brandon Miller was fourth out of seven runners in the 800 meter semifinal at the US Olympic Trials in 2021. As only the top three finishers were guaranteed to move on to the next round, he narrowly lost the opportunity to compete in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Miller surprised the world when he ran an age group record-breaking speed of 1:56.41 in the 800 meters at just 13 years old. A year later, he repeated the feat with a time of 1:51.23. His performances were unmatched by youngsters of his age, and the track community immediately became aware of this. Miller’s mother, Angela Miller, coached him in track during his childhood but took care to prevent him from overtraining. Miller finished second in the NCAA and broke the 1:45 mark in the 800 meters for the first time in his career while still a freshman in college. His personal best in the event is 1:44.97.
