Born on May 10, 1990, Ivana Vuleta is a Serbian long jumper who won the World Championship in 2023, as well as two World indoor championships, three European indoor championships, and four Diamond League Trophy winners. Španović won a medal at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics, making history as the first track and field athlete from Serbia to do so. Ivana Vuleta made history in 2018 by becoming the first track and field athlete from Serbia to win a senior gold medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships.

In addition to holding the national indoor records for the 60-meter pentathlon and long jump, she is the current Serbian record holder in both events. She won several titles in Serbia. Her coach is Goran Obradović, and she plays for the Novi Sad-based Vojvodina Athletic Club. At the 2008 World Junior Championships and the 2009 Summer Universiade, Španović won gold medals. She was chosen as the 2008 Best Young Athlete in Serbia.
