Even though Adam Cole and AEW World Champion MJF lost the pre-match dance-off, they have a lot to be happy about tonight. In the final of the AEW Blind Eliminator Tag Tournament, which took place on Wednesday’s “AEW Dynamite,” MJF and Cole beat Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara of The Jericho Appreciation Society. Not only did the team wear similar clothes and play a new version of their songs, but they also won with their much-talked-about double tackle.

The win seemed to cause some tension in the Jericho Appreciation Society, but the tourney winners were too busy partying to notice. Chris Jericho got off the commentary booth to try to comfort the losers, but both Garcia and Guevara turned him down.

Cole and MJF were having a party, but the AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR, stopped them. The tag team came out and looked down the tourney winners. They had just defended their title for almost an hour against Bullet Club Gold. On July 29, at “AEW Collision,” the two teams will face off. After the staredown, MJF and Cole’s music came on, which upset FTR’s Dax Harwood. He told Tony Khan to “play [their] music,” since they are the champions.
