In contrast to WWE, AEW takes a different strategy for talent release. While Tony Khan often lets the contract expire without renewing it, WWE frequently releases wrestler contracts. One wrestler’s profile was deleted from the roster website, which fans noted, suggesting that he is no longer employed by the organization.

Trench no longer works for AEW, according to PWInsider.com, as his contract has ended. His profile was thus deleted from the roster page a few days ago. Trench was a friend of Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux and was well known for his facial tattoos. It was said that Trench and Boudreaux were both hurt before he left.

Prior to switching to wrestling, Trench, the actual name Granden Goetzman, was a baseball player. He never made his AEW debut, however earlier this year he trained with Jay Lethal. They haven’t been shown on television because of their wounds, and Strickland has taken the side of the Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun with Prince Nana).

Trench was set to be made into a star

According to PWInsider, Trench (Granden Goetzman)’s contract with All Elite Wrestling was let to expire, indicating his exit from the organization. Trench had been a member of the Mogul Affiliates group led by Swerve Strickland. Trench’s profile was also taken off the roster page of AEW’s website. Although the amount and details of their injuries remained unknown, Parker Boudreaux, a partner of Trench’s at Mogul Affiliates, had been out since being injured.

Since their injuries, Swerve has relaunched his faction as the Mogul Embassy, ostensibly placing an ellipsis, if not a complete stop, on the short-lived Mogul Affiliates. Both men were pet projects of Strickland, who hoped to mold them into stars. Since Trench had not yet made his professional debut and was still in training when he was hurt, very little is known about where the mysterious prospect came from. Even less is known about what Trench expects to do moving forward.

Boudreaux is still listed as a member of Mogul Affiliates on the roster page of the AEW website. Additionally, he exudes confidence in his position within the organization.
