Brian Pillman Jr.’s departure from AEW was just revealed following the conclusion of his term with the organization. In 2019, the star signed with the promotion and formed the tag team Varsity Blondes with Griff Garrison; the two were later joined by Julia Hart.

After Hart joined the House of Black and Garrison got wounded, the two dropped down the card and failed to establish a stable footing, despite having brief dalliances with the main event picture, including a brief feud with MJF.

Working with Brian Pillman in WCW and then in the WWF began Jim Ross’s long relationship with the Pillman family.

at a recent episode of his podcast, “Grilling JR,” the famed announcer expressed sympathy for the second-generation star’s plight and said that things weren’t going well for him at AEW.

“It wasn’t working,” Ross said. “He’s not losing any ring time. He’ll have plenty of opportunities. He’s just gotta structure his journey and be smart about the decisions that he makes and get all the in-ring time that he can. Wrestle as many matches as he can schedule. So, he’s gonna be fine, just gotta have his plan and work it.

His career took a minor tumble, but not one that you can’t get up from. So, I have a lot of confidence he’s gonna end up very successful in wrestling.”

Is Jim Ross soon to become a free agent or NOT?

Jim Ross’s AEW contract is about to expire. So, it is possible he might become a free agent again. Many professional wrestling fans can’t remember a time when Jim Ross wasn’t a familiar voice at the commentary table. Ross has been an enthusiastic voice that fans have come to adore for decades, and he has had some of the best calls in the industry’s history.

Since 2019, he’s been giving his services to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), assisting with commentary and interviews, as well as serving as a senior advisor behind the scenes. However, his contract with AEW will expire shortly, although he is unconcerned about this.
