The wrestling world has been talking about AEW Collision, and the latest episode is no different. On July 29, a lot more people watched the show than usual, giving it its best number since it began. Wrestlenomics says that an average of 739,000 people watched the action-packed event, which is a big jump from the 618,000 people who watched the show the week before.

The show was a success in more ways than just how many people watched it. AEW Collision also saw a big jump in the highly sought-after 18–49 age group, going from 0.18 the week before to 0.27, which is a big jump.

Advertisers and investors care a lot about this group of people, so this rise is a big win for AEW Collision.

The Last Quarter: The most viewers ever

The conclusion of the main event happened in the last quarter-hour of the show, which was a high point.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics pointed out that this part of the show had an average of 837,000 watchers and a 0.33 rating among people ages 18 to 49. This high number of watchers shows how interesting AEW Collision is and how well it can keep people interested throughout the show.

The show began with an exciting ladder match between Andrade El Idolo and Buddy Matthews from The House of Black. El Idolo won and got his mask back.

The excitement kept going when CM Punk opened his bag and pulled out the AEW World Championship from All Out 2022, which he had never lost. This set up a title defense against Ricky Starks on the next week’s show.

In the night’s main event, AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR defended their titles against AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole. In an exciting ending, FTR kept their crowns and added another part to their history.
