Tammy Lynn Sytch, a.k.a. Sunny, was the first-ever ‘Diva’ in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the most popular US professional wrestling promotion. In 1996 she turned into the most looked for celebrity on net, any place its charisma and beauty captivated fans. But she went through the tragedy when she was imposed to 17 years sentence for the fatal accident as she drunk and drive. Today, Sunny finds herself inside the High-Risk Residential Treatment Unit at the Lowell Correctional Institution in Marion County, Florida while sharing this with us is all that she wants. She speaks about the podcast ‘Bird Calls’ and how she talks about the predicament where you’re deprived of sexual intimacy, in addition to the different odd requests from the other inmates for the used panties.

Sunny and her partner spent more than 22 months of their lives without sexual intercourse. This makes her worry more about how she needs to remain with her partner. According to her, one can only comprehend it by being a virgin. Which is difficult since the last time she experienced this feeling was from being a famous personality, someone who was at the peak of her health and beauty. Although she said can’t develop a romantic bond with men who are here in prison. Sunny, on the other hand, confesses that her attraction has always been to men, yet the shortage of choices in association with women inserts them [the inmates] as an alternative fantasy option. She admits that in her absence of choices she has had a girl-girl nature of relationships to meet her needs. Even though she is not very attracted by this way of bonding.

The lack of intimacy and unsettling requests

As plausible and difficult as Sunny’s life behind bars is. The possibility of their unhinged cohorts capitalizing on her fame adds an even more unsettling element to it. She confirms that some prisoners have indirectly hinted that they would love her to authenticate her ID card and underwear by signing and they would be posted inside internet auction sites such as eBay. Sunny turned down the money in the wardrobe and said she would never sell anybody and her things. Like most celebrity inmates who entered the prison with a marvelous past, the WWE Hall of Famer also realized that her fame intimates some of the inmates which led them to whisper about her in the prison yard. However, she remains steadfast and shapes a personal brand unlike others trying to use her fame and fortune for their profit.

In conclusion the fairy tale of Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch’s life has ended with the most unsettling twist since her role as the first great ‘Diva’ of WWE. Whilst behind bars, she must navigate the pitfalls of exclusively being a woman in a man’s world. Having to deal with the obscene demands from inmates within the prison walls. In the midst of all the hard times, Sunny does not give up and doesn’t let anyone or anything stop her from being herself. Sunny walks her path with dignity. In no need of her skill level will give in to any external interferences. It’s a lesson that serves to show us that a transformation can take place regardless of the bells and whistles of fame. But rather how much inner strength is available to us whenever we are hit the worst in our lives.
