Javier Bernal and Harland took part in the first match in the history of NXT Level Up. Before that, Joe Gacy called himself a “Agent of Change,” said everyone on WWE’s newest brand will be welcome and said the ring would be used to solve any problems.

Harland took control of the first fight right away. He pushed Bernal into the corner with several punches, then threw him across the ring and bounced his face on the ground over and over again.

Bernal established some distance with kicks and forearms to the face, but Harland welcomed his flying adversary with a punch to the abdomen and almost drove him back-first into the canvas with a match-clinching smash.

Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley beat Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay in a fight by submission

There were two teams that were competing for a spot in the Dusty Classic. Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay teamed up to fight Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley.

Malcolm Bivens and Nile both wanted to bring Paxley into the Diamond Mine so that Nile could have a partner who could be as bad as him. Neither of them was disappointed.

The newly formed duo was able to pull off a unique double team move right away. Nile suplexed Henley, then Paxley did a somersault leg drop. When Nile put her unique submission hold on Inlay’s neck, she made the wrestlers fight all over the ring. Inlay had to immediately give up.

After the bell, Nile seemed to move away from Paxley when she tried to raise her hand. As Bivens raised Nile’s hand, however, The Pitbull of the Diamond Mine looked at Paxley in a way that seemed to show that she was pleased.

Edris Enofe beat Kushida

Even if one of the two people competing in the main event of the first-ever NXT Level Up was feeling the stress, they didn’t show it.

Rather than a boring match, the two acrobatic wrestlers put on a show for the WWE fans. The main event was full of acrobatic moves like a snap suplex and a hurricanrana, as well as some very good mat work. Kushida hit Enofé with a dropkick to the midsection, and Enofé hit The Time Splitter with a dropkick of his own to the back.

A breathtaking Shooting Star Press by Enofé sent Kushida to the ground face-first on the mat. Enofé won the match. After an epic NXT Level Up debut episode, Kushida seemed to give Enofé some words of encouragement as he hugged and kissed him.
