Joseph ‘Sefa’ Fatu, recognized by his ring alias Solo Sikoa, is an accomplished professional wrestler hailing from the esteemed Anoa’i lineage. As the younger sibling of Jimmy and Jey Uso, he proudly carries the family legacy. Presently, he showcases his skills on the SmackDown brand, aligning with his brothers and cousin Roman Reigns as a formidable force known as The Bloodline. With his remarkable talent and formidable lineage, Solo Sikoa continues to leave an indelible mark in the world of wrestling.
Hailing from California, United States, Joseph ‘Sefa’ Fatu, born on March 18, 1993, possesses a remarkable lineage within the revered Samoan wrestling family of the WWE. While attending college, Sikoa demonstrated his exceptional athletic prowess across various sports. His journey began at American River College, where his football skills shone brightly, leaving a lasting impact on the field. Continuing his football career at Dickinson State University, Sikoa’s dedication and athleticism continued to impress. However, upon completing his college education, he made the courageous choice to transition from football to embark on a new passion, embracing the world of professional wrestling.
Amidst the eagerly anticipated Clash at the Castle event, the stage was set for a gripping showdown between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre for the prestigious Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. As the match reached its climax, with McIntyre on the verge of victory through a pinfall on Reigns, an unidentified figure in a black hoodie intervened, pulling Reigns out of the ring to break the pin. Subsequently revealed as Solo Sikoa, he made a stunning main roster debut on the September 9th episode of SmackDown, facing McIntyre in a hard-fought battle that ended in a disqualification victory for McIntyre due to Kross’s interference.
To everyone’s surprise, Solo resurfaced on the September 13th edition of NXT, issuing an unexpected challenge to Hayes for the North American Championship. Against all odds, Sikoa emerged triumphant, capturing the title in a remarkable upset. He then defended his newly acquired championship against Madcap Moss on SmackDown during that same week, showcasing his resilience and skill. However, Sikoa’s title reign was short-lived, as the following week on NXT, Shawn Michaels, in an unfortunate turn of events, compelled him to relinquish the championship since the match in which he won the title was not officially sanctioned.
Solo Sikoa is currently in a committed relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Almia Williams, who works as a guest service agent at Hampton Inn and Suites. The couple became engaged in 2020 but have not yet exchanged their vows. There have been no updates regarding the announcement of Solo and Almia’s wedding, leaving their fans eagerly anticipating further news about their journey to marital bliss.
Together, they have been blessed with two sons, Zion Fatu, born in 2019, and Za’khi Christopher Fatu, born in 2021.
