The world of WWE Women’s Championships has seen incredible talent and fierce competition over the years. Numerous female superstars have etched their names in history by capturing championship gold. Here, we take a closer look at the top five stars with the most WWE Women’s Championship wins.

1. Charlotte Flair (13 Time)

Charlotte Flair, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, stands atop the list with an impressive record of 12 WWE Women’s Championship reigns. Her dominance and athleticism in the ring have made her one of the most celebrated women’s wrestlers of all time. Flair’s championship victories have showcased her versatility and ability to deliver memorable performances on the grandest stages of WWE. She has won 1 WWE Divas Championship, 6 Raw Women’s Championships, and 6 Smackdown Women’s Championships. She was in her 6th reign as WWE smackdown women’s champion until Rhea Ripley dethroned The Queen to become the champion.

2. Trish Stratus (7 Time)

Trish Stratus, a trailblazer in women’s wrestling, is second on the list with seven WWE Women’s Championship reigns. Stratus played a pivotal role in elevating the women’s division during her tenure, combining in-ring skill with charisma and a strong connection with the audience. Her championship reigns solidify her status as one of the most influential female performers in WWE history. Trish Stratus has seven WWE Women’s Championships to her name. When she initially won it, it was known as the WWF Women’s Championship.

3. Sasha Banks (6-Time)

Sasha Banks is regarded as ‘the Boss’ in WWE. She is currently one of the top female wrestlers in the industry and has several awards to her name. She has won the Raw Women’s Championship five times and the Smackdown Women’s Championship once. She has won six WWE championships in total.

4. Becky Lynch (6-Time)

She won a Royal Rumble match in 2019 and won both the Raw Women’s Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35, making her the first woman to hold both championships concurrently and a four-time WWE women’s champion. She lost the SmackDown title the following month, but then set a record for the longest reign as Raw Women’s Champion, lasting 399 days until taking a pregnancy break in May 2020.

Lynch returned to SummerSlam in August 2021 to face SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, whom she defeated seconds later to become a four-time SmackDown Women’s Champion. She became WWE’s Sixth Women’s Triple Crown Champion after winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in 2023. She has won the Smackdown Women’s Championship four times and the Raw Women’s Championship twice, bringing her total to six.

5. Mickie James (6-Time)

James made her main roster debut in 2005 and was assigned to a storyline with Trish Stratus in which James’ gimmick was that of Stratus’ biggest fan turned obsessed stalker, an angle that lasted eight months. She was given a push and won her first WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 22, a title she has held five times in total. James also won her first Divas Championship at Night of Champions in 2009, defeating Maryse Ouellet to become the second of five Divas to win both the Women’s and Divas championships. She has won the WWE Women’s Championship 5 times and the WWE Divas Championship 1 time.
