She cites Stone Cold Steve Austin, Trish Stratus and Lita as her inspirations in wrestling. She met Dustin Rhodes in 1997 and, at the age of 13 in 2002, she met Stratus at WWE Global Warning Tour: Melbourne.

Early Career

Her brother first introduced Dashwood to wrestling. Between the ages of 13 and 18, she participated in some wrestling instruction. Before joining WWE, she competed in Australia’s indie promotions. In 2008, she moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for a few months to train with Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy. Dashwood then traveled to the United States, and made her in-ring debut for all-female American promotion Shimmer Women Athletes. Dashwood made her debut for the Canadian wrestling promotion Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW) on 22 May 2009 under her real name. In 2009, Dashwood also wrestled for another Canadian promotion, Prairie Wrestling Alliance, as Tenille Williams. WWE Debut

Dashwood began working with the WWE development brand in 2011 after inking a contract with the company. In 2012, FCW changed its name to NXT, and Dashwood continued to work there. The Paige rivalry was the turning point of Dashwood’s time in NXT. Paige defeated Emma to win the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Arrival. After engaging in conflict with BBFs, Emma joined the main roster. Emma made her main roster debut on RAW in January 2014. She started a fight with Summer Rae and formed an on-screen romance with Santino Marella in the ensuing weeks. She lost the 14 Diva Invitational match for the Divas Championship against AJ Lee at WrestleMania XXX. Their on-screen romance ended after Marella disclosed his in-ring retirement.

WWE Career

2015 saw Emma’s comeback to NXT. She engaged in conflict with people like Charlotte, Carmella, and Bayley during her stint, and she also went evil. She competed against Asuka at TakeOver London but lost. However, the game received positive reviews from viewers all over the world. She returned in March 2016 and allied herself with Team B.A.D. Team B.A.D. and Blonde fell to Team Total Divas at WrestleMania 32. She had a back issue in May, so she had to take some time off.

She hinted that she would appear as a new character named Emmalina in October. She made her début after several weeks of buildup, and the character was immediately canceled. She made a comeback as her heel persona after WrestleMania. Before facing Asuka, Emma played a number of bouts throughout the year. She wrestled Asuka at TLC 2017 but lost. It was her final game before leaving the organization.
