John Morrison is known for being one of the best high-flying superstars to ever step inside the squared circle. But he added a different accomplishment to the list of his career, winning his first boxing match with a KO in an upset victory against Harley Morenstein of Epic Meal Time during Creator Clash 2. During the post-match interview, John Morrison did the unexpected thing calling out Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and KSI. But he specifically targeted KSI as he has been unbeaten till now.
After his intense fight when he was asked who he would like to face next John Morrison said, “There are some influencer boxers I have zero respect for. Jake Paul? Blegh! Logan Paul? Blegh! They both make me sick. The Paul brothers make me sick. Overnight tough guys. The entire Misfits boxing promotion, they’re all the sh*ts.”
But then he called out the YouTuber KSI, answering he’d accept the fight anytime. He said, ““Jake? Logan? No! Jake got beat. Logan got beat by KSI. Which is why I’m gonna put KSI on blast right now!”
With John Morrison calling out KSI and calling Paul brother’s “sh**”. It is just a matter of some time these fighters try to blast each other booking a fight someday soon.
John Morrison made one hell of a debut in his first professional boxing match. He made his debut on April 15, 2023, in Florida. He fought against Harley Morenstein and won in a convincing fashion with a 3rd round TKO ending. Much for John Morrison, he didn’t have anything to worry. As he had some big names looking for his back. At the boxing event, he was accompanied by his wife, Tara Valkyrie, Karrion Kross, and his wife Scarlett Bordeaux, LA Knight, and Josh Barnett.
John Morrison was released by WWE in 2021 due to ‘budget cuts’. He was one of the 83 wrestlers who were released by WWE in 2021. John Morrison’s last WWE appearances included The Miz betraying Morrison after their loss against Bad Bunny and Damien Priest at WrestleMania 37 which started a feud between both the man. But the plans were scrapped as The Miz had to compete on “Dancing with Stars” due to which he had to go on a hiatus.
Even though John Morrison may not be in WWE anymore, but he would always be in the heart of the WWE Universe.
