The Men’s Volleyball Club World Championship 2023, one of the prominent season-ending events of the international volleyball season, is scheduled to be hosted in Bengaluru, India, from December 6 to December 10, 2023. The prestigious tournament will feature elite volleyball clubs from across the globe competing for the title. Italy’s Sir Sicoma Perugia will be defending their title. The event will also witness the participation of renowned teams such as Turkey’s Halkbank Spor Kulübü, Brazil’s volleyball powerhouses Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei and Itambe Minas, Japan’s Suntory Sunbirds, and India’s Ahmedabad Defenders.

After topping the group stage with two wins against Itambe Minas and Ahmedabad Defenders, Sir Safety Perugia advanced to the semi-final of the tournament and aims to retain its title. Meanwhile, Halkbank Spor Kulubu finished second in its group to progress to the semis, after an emphatic victory against Sada Cruzeiro Volei by 3-0.
