Live streaming will be available on Volleyball World TV for the 2023 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League games.
The annual men’s volleyball competition, the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League will start from June 6 to July 23, 2023. The finals will be held in Gdansk, Poland’s Ergo Arena. Australia was replaced in this edition by Cuba’s rookies due to the outcomes of the 2022 Challenger Cup and the Nations League. There could only be 16 teams competing. Ten of them qualified as core teams exempt from relegation by meeting the requirements. The top six teams were selected as challenger teams that could be eliminated from the competition. Australia was replaced by Cuba after winning the 2022 Challenger Cup.
In the tournament, sixteen teams will compete. A core team status has been attained by ten of them—Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Japan, Poland, Serbia, and the United States—protecting them from potential downgrading. The six challenger teams that will compete for the title at the risk of being demoted are the following: Slovenia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria.
The FIVB Men’s Nations League 2023 match between Italy and Cuba is scheduled for June 10. In this match, two rival teams will square off. According to the most recent world rankings, Cuba is ranked thirteenth and Italy is ranked fourth. Cuba didn’t compete in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2022, while Italy is ranked fourth place. This time, both the teams will be looking to top the table.
