Volleyball World TV will broadcast live the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. The event will be televised on Channel 7HD in Thailand
The fifth season of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League, an annual men’s volleyball competition, will end in 2023. From June 6 through July 23, 2023, the championship round will take place in Gdansk, Poland’s Ergo Arena. Due to the results of the 2022 Challenger Cup and the Nations League, Cuba’s rookies replaced Australia in this edition. There could only be 16 teams in the competition. Ten of them fulfilled the criteria to be core teams exempt from relegation. The final six teams were chosen as challenger teams that could be eliminated from the competition. After winning the 2022 Challenger Cup, Cuba took the place of Australia.
In the tournament, sixteen teams will compete. Ten of them—Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Japan, Poland, Serbia, and the United States—have attained the status of the core team, shielding them from potential downgrading. Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba, the Netherlands, and Slovenia are the six challenger teams that will compete for the title at the risk of being demoted.
At the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, Earvin Ngapeth last year gave his first MVP-caliber performance, assisting France to win their second straight match and advance to the Round of 16. Ngapeth and his teammates defeated Slovenia, one of the co-hosts of the World Championship, in five sets (25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 34-32, 15-7) in front of more than 11,000 spectators in Ljubljana during their second Pool D match.
