The FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023, happening from May 30 to July 16, 2023, is prepared to deliver a spectacle with 16 teams from four confederations battling for the prestigious title. Core contenders in this contest feature Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States, while Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, the Dominican Republic, and Poland are stepping in as challenger teams.

The 2023 edition of the Women’s Nations League will be conducted in four distinct parts, starting with a rigorous three-week phase of competitive matches. Following the preliminaries, the best eight teams with the highest scores will move to the final round. This concluding stage of the tournament will thrust the top eight teams into a knockout showdown.

In the tournament’s climax, a series of eight matches, including four quarterfinals, two semifinals, and the critical bronze and gold medal battles, will be played. The country hosting the finals, together with the top seven performing teams, will compete in this ultimate challenge for the much-coveted medals.

The world no.5 China will take on the world no.3 Brazil on 31st May, 2023, as both the teams start their campaign at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023. In the last edition, Brazil finished as the runner-up after losing to Italy by 3-0 (25–23, 25–22, 25–22), while China came in sixth in 2022. The fans will expect a fierce battle between both the teams as they face each other on Wednesday.
