Luke Rockhold, the iconic figure of the UFC, is enthusiastically eyeing Jake Paul as his prospective boxing adversary, and he’s willing to wager his entire earnings on the showdown.

Ever since venturing into the realm of boxing, Jake Paul has encountered challengers hailing from diverse backgrounds. Rising pugilists, past world titlists, and even famous figures seeking their inaugural taste of the squared circle have, at some juncture, extended their callouts to him.

Yet, excluding Tommy Fury, Jake’s boxing resume primarily consists of ex-MMA combatants transitioning from the cage. His most recent victory came via a unanimous decision against Nate Diaz, sparking discussions of a rematch within the PFL octagon. Nevertheless, there are other intriguing contenders eager to lock horns with Jake.

Luke Rockhold wants to take on Jake Paul

In the mix of potential challengers, former UFC Light Heavyweight and Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold is now keen to face off against Jake Paul following his departure from the MMA promotion. Rockhold, who has dabbled in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, is prepared to elevate the stakes further by risking his entire earnings in a showdown with Jake.

“I’d thrive in that opportunity, I’d all but promise you that I put this kid to sleep and I put my whole paycheck on it but he doesn’t want to challenge himself against a real fighter. Someone who is gonna bite down and put it down you know,” he told MMA journalist Chamatkar Sandhu.

“It’s like with boxing, it’s yeah I mean he did fight Tommy Fury but Tommy Fury ain’t like a legitimate boxer trying to go up the ranks, he’s just doing those show fights, trying to stay relevant in his space but he ain’t a killer.”

Jake Paul is yet to take his next fight

At the moment, Jake’s upcoming bout remains shrouded in mystery, while the spotlight shifts toward his brother, Logan, who is scheduled to compete on the PRIME Card slated for October 14th.

Jake does indeed have an MMA contract with the PFL, potentially giving it priority over a comeback to the boxing arena. Nevertheless, we’ll need to exercise patience to find out for sure.
