Tyron Woodley, the former UFC Welterweight Champion, is now expressing interest in a boxing match against Logan Paul. While his previous encounters in the boxing ring were with Jake Paul, with Jake coming out victorious in both, Woodley is now considering stepping into the ring with Logan for a potential matchup.

In a conversation with TMZ Sports, Tyron Woodley expressed his strong interest in the possibility of a boxing match against Logan Paul, emphasizing that the idea genuinely captivates him.

During the conversation, Woodley was taken aback by the idea and acknowledged its appeal, admitting that he hadn’t considered it before. He playfully addressed Logan, referencing the past trash talk and antics during his bouts with Jake Paul, humorously recalling the moment when Logan’s presence near the ring was causing a distraction with his picture-taking and comments.

“You know, I didn’t think about that. Damn, that’s a good idea,” Woodley said. “Logan, what’s crackin’? You was talkin’ mad s*** while I was fighting your brother and I almost kicked your Polaroid off the boxing ring because he was distracting the fight, talking and hitting the canvas and taking pictures.”

“So, if y’all wanna do it again and flip the coin, let’s get it cracking … I was about to get to training anyway, let’s get it in.”

Tyron Woodley has called him out before

This isn’t the initial instance of Woodley mentioning Logan Paul. In 2019, he spoke to TMZ Sports, expressing his belief that the UFC might consider adding Paul to their active roster, showcasing his ongoing interest in the possibility.

Woodley pointed out that the same audience who follows YouTube content also tunes in to UFC events, highlighting Logan Paul’s significant fanbase. He praised Paul’s athletic background as a Division I wrestler, anticipating exciting press conferences due to Paul’s penchant for trash-talking. Woodley hinted that there might be breaking news in the near future about Logan Paul securing a multi-fight deal with the UFC, especially considering the recent buzz around the possibility.

“The exact YouTubers that are watching his stuff are the same ones that are watching the UFC. He has a huge following. Great deal. He looks athletic, he’s a Division I wrestler, he’s insane, and he’s going to talk a lot of sh*t so the press conferences are going to be insane. After this last event, I wouldn’t be surprised in the next two months we see some breaking news of Logan Paul getting a couple-fight deal with the UFC.”
